Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction RPG, announced today that it has pushed back its launch to July 2026, partially due to the addition of a PlayStation 5 version. The new release date will allow for a simultaneous global launch across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The extra development time will also allow developer Bellring Games to implement additional improvements including a combat overhaul that eliminates the “energy-exhaustion” mechanics in favor of a more fluid combat system.
With the changing of dates, other dates have changed too, and the new playtesting schedule for Mistfall Hunter includes a small-scale invitation-only technical test in April, followed by a larger beta test on June 15th ahead of the global release in July.
