Well, I’ve certainly got to give developer Build a Rocket Boy credit – they haven’t given up on MindsEye, and don’t plan to anytime soon it appears. Today, the studio announced Update 7 for the third-person sci-fi shooter, which brings further polish and improvements to the much-maligned game.
Build a Rocket Boy says this update serves as a reset for the brand as it races head down into 2026, focusing on smoothing the flow of the campaign, making objectives easier to follow, enhancing AI behavior, and more. They also teased further updates coming this year, including continued improvements, end-game content, enhanced world exploration, and a multiplayer mode.
After releasing seven updates in nearly as many months sinch launch, I believe what they say, and honestly, I’m rooting for them to get this right eventually.
