After delaying all the way out of 2025, Bungie has announced that first-person PvPvE extraction shooter, Marathon, is set to release on March 5th for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. The PlayStation subsidiary invites players to the lost colony of Tau Ceti IV where you will chase down your fortune using bio-cybernetic Runner shells. A new gameplay trailer dropped alongside the release date announcement, which you can see below.
But wait, there’s more! Not only did we get Marathon’s release date and a new look at gameplay, but they also revealed the game’s voice cast, and it is stacked:

And finally, Bungie showed off a custom Marathon DualSense controller and Pulse Elite wireless headset for PS5, with pre-orders for both going live on January 29th at the PlayStation Direct website. Marathon can be pre-ordered now on your platform of choice. The Standard Edition retails for $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition comes with extra digital goodies for $59.99. Or if you really want to go all-in, the Marathon Collector’s Edition can be purchased from Bungie’s website for $229.99.
