Independent developer Megagon Industries has announced that its physics-based snow skiing game, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, is coming to PlayStation 5, though no release date was given. It is currently available on PC and Xbox, where the team also shadow dropped a new DLC today.
The Highlands DLC takes players to a brand-new mountain in the Scottish Highlands, featuring new challenges and rewards, with full multiplayer and leaderboard support. You can pick up the DLC right now for $7.99 on Xbox and PC.
For PlayStation 5 players who’ve yet to experience the game, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders features relaxing yet challenging ski rides down snowy mountains, playable in both co-op or competitive multiplayer for up to eight people, with cross-platform support. As you complete challenges, you unlock new equipment, tricks, and cosmetics for your skier.
I really enjoyed Megagon’s first game – Lonely Mountains: Downhill – so I’m looking forward to Snow Riders on PS5. Hopefully we'll get a release date soon. In the meantime, check out a new trailer for the Highlands DLC below.
