All the way back in March we released our preview of Forestrike, and now the actual release is just weeks away. Forestrike is a rogue-like brawler of sorts, but rather than button mashing your way through the stages, you instead craft a unique string of moves through repeated practice. Using the foresight to see the future actions of your opponents you get as many attempts as you like at choreographing the outcome before you execute the plan. In some ways it reminds me of the RONIN game from ten years ago although the combat here ends up being much more fluid once you've mapped your run rather than RONIN's turn based strategy.
While the game is available now as a demo on Steam, the full version is set to release November 17th, and it's also coming to the Nintendo Switch. It's only expected to cost about $10 and should deliver on about 10-15 hours of gameplay to shuttle through the main story. Looks like a neat little title.
