Spilt Milk Studios has announced that its wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin now has a green checkmark on Steam, meaning it is Steam Deck certified. The news comes alongside update 1.2, which also adds new control options for both gamepad and mouse & keyboard, as well as new content. 25 new trinkets have been added for your tinkering pleasure, and new pumpkin spice season cosmetics too.
Never heard of Trash Goblin? Same. But it sounds delightful. Using over 240 trinkets and accessories, you use your little goblin hands to clean, repair, and upcycle trinkets into unique combinations that your customers want to buy. Your earnings are used to buy new tools and upgrades over time. There are 36 NPCs which you’ll be getting to know and selling to over time, so learning what makes them tick is the key to earning maximum profit.
Trash Goblin includes around 12 hours of hand-crafted story quests, with additional sidequests, and a literal endless gameplay loop beyond that. You can just keep on selling!
