More On: Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Publisher Team17 and developer Expression Games have announced Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, a hardcore, tactical first-person multiplayer shooter that emphasizes teamwork over hero-work, if you will. Set during the Vietnam conflict that took place from 1965 to 1973, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will feature signature 50v50 multiplayer battles (like its predecessor) that sticks with the core gameplay feel and mechanics that hardcore shooter fans love about Hell Let Loose.

Obviously, with a change in war theater and timeline, new technology and maps follow, including new aerial units that can act as soldier transport or deliver supplies to the frontlines. HLLV will also feature patrol boats, including the iconic U.S. PBR boat. And, of course, the North Vietnamese forces will have an extensive tunnel system that offers strategic advantages and the ability to initiate surprise attacks that will require sound tactical planning and execution by both teams.

Man, this looks dope, and if it’s anything like the OG Hell Let Loose, it will be just that. No word on a release date yet beyond a 2026 release window, but it is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Check out the announcement trailer below.
