Astragon Entertainment has announced that Seafarer: The Ship Sim is shoving off and sailing for PC Early Access on October 7th, both on Steam and Epic Games Store. Seafarer features a story mode that lets players choose different factions to complete a wide range of missions for, from fighting fires to towing other boats across the large map inspired by Northern Europe. There is also a quick play mode that lets you freely explore the stunning world developed in Unreal Engine 5, as well as NVIDIA WaveWorks 2.0 technology. And they really are some nice-looking waves, folks. You’ll also be able to freely explore and interact with your ships – check the engines, operate cranes, and deploy water cannons, among other things.
Seafarer: The Ship Sim will cost $24.99 in Early Access. You can check out the new release date trailer below, or tune in on August 21st at 1pm Eastern for a showcase stream during Gamescom.
