Battlefield Studios kept the receipts from the first weekend of the Battlefield 6 open beta. Collectively, us players destroyed nearly $70 billion dollars in virtual property. But we can’t stop there, because if the total reaches $1 trillion in damage after the upcoming second weekend, the entire playerbase unlocks an M60 weapon skin. All we have to do is keep blasting and post our destruction receipt clip of less than 30 seconds on social media with the hashtag #BF6Receipts.
So, how is Battlefield Studios tracking this? With the help of Carlos Diemer, an architecture and engineering expert with 55 years of experience across the globe, including Cairo and Brooklyn, two of the BF6 maps. EA has Carlos reviewing our clips and crunching the numbers, which vary depending on which map you’re playing. Lest we forget that the number one mantra of real estate is “location, location, location”.
