Out of all the announcements we have gotten this weekend, to me this is one of the most hype. No Straight Roads 2 has been announced and is releasing next year.
The Steam page for the game has some additional details. Mayday and Zeke return from the first game and will be joined by two additional characters. New environments outside of Vinyl City, a brand new soundtrack and the rhythm based boss battles from the first game will also return. Finally it seems we will have a tour van this time around which acts as an HQ and can be fully customized.
I really enjoyed the first game and must have replayed the boss fights hundreds of times because the music in the game is absolutely incredible. Zeke and Mayday were really loveable characters and I really loved the idea that each boss battle in the game represented a different genre of music from Disco, Pop, Jazz and more. This is one game I will absolutely be keeping my eye on for next year.
No Straight Roads 2 will release in 2026 for PC and Consoles.
