The first public playtest for developer Chrono Studio’s MMORPG, Chrono Odyssey, has been announced for June, but only on the Steam platform. Signups for this closed beta test are live now through the game’s Steam page. It looks like console players will be left out for now, but the full game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, in addition to PC.
The Unreal Engine 5 title will feature cinematic visuals, near-instant load times, dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and shifting terrain thanks to temporal shifts. On the gameplay front, you can expect time manipulation mechanics to outmaneuver enemies, as well as six classes, three of which will be available during the beta test – Swordsman, Ranger, and Berserker.
