It’s been a hot minute since I have seen any news about ArcheAge Chronicles. In fact, I first wrote about it nearly two years ago when it was still called ArcheAge 2. At yesterday's PlayStation State of Play, the teams at XLGAMES and Kakao Games re-revealed the online action RPG, with its new name, and a dazzling gameplay trailer.
ArcheAge Chronicles promises a seamless and expansive, evolving open world for players to explore, from lush forests to bustling cities, many of which you can see in the new trailer. It will also feature a cinematic narrative full of lore and quests that players can engage in alone or with other humans. Along those lines, the game will also feature a player-driven economy and allow you to build and customize homes, or even engage in crafting professions to be a vendor for others.
You should definitely check out the new trailer below, as the last two years of development have seemingly been very kind to ArcheAge Chronicles. We don’t have a release date yet, but it is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S when the time is right.
