THQ Nordic held a showcase event in August and I remember it fondly in large part to The Eternal Life of Goldman, a striking adventure platformer that should have your attention. Today we received our first look at raw gameplay, and an extended one at that – clocking in at around eight minutes long. As you might imagine, you’ll be playing as the titular Goldman, an elderly man with a cane who adventures across a world of twisted fairy tales and strange folklore. And it’s a world with such impeccable art direction that it jumps off the page (or out of the video) at you.
I only watched the first couple of minutes of the new gameplay demo, because I want to go into the experience as fresh as possible, but you should definitely see it in action, if only for a bit. The Eternal Life of Goldman has not announced a release date, but will land on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC when it is ready.
