As of today, first-person co-op zombie shooter Hellbreach: Vegas has officially released its 1.0 version, heading out of Steam Early Access. The round-based zombie-slayer is heavily-inspired by Call of Duty: Zombies and Left 4 Dead, receiving a number of refinements for 1.0, including more maps, game modes, accessories, and weapons. Under the hood, it received a tune-up as well, boasting full controller support, upgraded enemy AI and animations, performance optimization, and squashed some bugs. It is also now Steam Deck compatible, which the Steam store page hasn’t been updated to show just yet.
So, just what in the hell is going on in Hellbreach: Vegas? A typical night in Las Vegas turns to hell when portals open across the city, making way for demonic hordes. Naturally, you need to send these demonic fools back from whence they came.
Have a gander at the new 1.0 launch trailer, or check out a free demo on Steam. The game retails for $14.99, but it is supposed to be getting a launch window discount of 33% at some point.
