More On: Terminator: Survivors

In hindsight, a survival game set in the Terminator universe is a no-brainer, but until now, it’s something that has never been done before. That is changing with Terminator: Survivors from NACON, which is hitting PC Early Access on October 24th, and coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date.

In a new behind-the-scenes video, NACON Studio Milan has shared a look at the atmosphere and key features of Terminator: Survivors. The game is heavily inspired by the first two James Cameron films, attempting to capture the post-apocalyptic wasteland environment, as well as the fear of being constantly hunted by the T-800. Players will control a resistance base, upgrade its equipment, and gather resources to survive. There are multiple human factions to engage with as well, each with its own territory, role in the world, and beliefs about Skynet. Combat also plays a big part in Terminator: Survivors, with each encounter with the Terminators requiring careful planning and resource management if you want to keep drawing breath.
