You might have thought the big news in the world of football this week was the lead-up to the Champions League final, or maybe the rumors that FIFA have found a new gaming partner to license to with 2K, and maybe you're right on those fronts, but don't forget about Sociable Soccer 24. Orignially promised to land before the end of last year and made available for PC in November, Sociable Soccer is finally dropping on Switch next week, June 7th.
Sociable Soccer 24 is the spiritual successor to Sensible Soccer where it has enjoyed popularity through Apple and mobile devices. It's now making the jump to consoles with this Switch release first, and later Xbox and PlayStation to follow. What makes the game special, well in their own words from the press release:
They nearly had me hooked until the in-game chat and emoji bullet, sigh. But I'm an old curmudgeon, don't let it stop you from giving it a try. Maybe there's an auto-mute?
