City-building strategy game Kingdoms and Castles comes to PlayStation March 21st

Spanish publisher BlitWorks Games and developer Lion Shield Studios is bringing its city-building strategy game Kingdoms and Castles to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 21st. The cozy builder features a beautiful low poly art style and lets you create the medieval kingdom of your dreams with more than 80 building types from military facilities to farms.

Manage your building resources, keep your citizens happy, and when enemies come knocking at your gates, defend your kingdom with everything you have. Expect to be visited by Vikings, dragons, wolves, and ogres while contending with changing seasons that affect your crops and livestock.

It sounds like a lot of the typical moving parts you see from the genre, but BlitWorks promises it is simple to pick-up and play, with a focus on low-key fun. In fact, it features four difficulty levels from “peaceful” to “survival”, depending on what type of experience you’re looking for.

Kingdoms and Castles looks right up my alley, especially for the $14.99 price tag. Check out a new trailer below:
