Last year, PlayStation announced it was spinning up the India Hero Project, a video game curation project that looks to find and nurture game development talent in the nascent Indian market, just like its ongoing China Hero Project. Today, two-person developer imissmyfriends announced their coming-of-age slice of life game Fishbowl as one of the first titles to emerge from PlayStation’s India initiative. It will release for both PlayStation 5 and PC, but no launch date was given.
Fishbowl follows Alo, a 21-year-old starting her first job in a new city following the death of her grandmother. Living by herself and grieving her loss, Alo embarks on a journey with branching paths and multiple endings. As the player, you will decide how to spend your time each day – call loved ones, perform work as a video editor, and sort through your grandmother’s personal belongings as you figure out life.
