Vibrant roguelite Metroidvania Ultros released today on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from Swedish indie developer Hadoque. The psychedelic side-scroller will put your senses on overload with its striking, boldly colorful art style, and its designed by industry veterans who have worked on indie hits such as Hotline Miami, Magicka, Fe, and the Steamworld series.
In Ultros, you venture across an alien world filled with flamboyant flora and fauna. You will engage in blade-based combat, including boss battles against giant enemies, as well as grow your own plants. Unlike other roguelites, dying does not mean starting over, instead reverting to your last save point, though things will look a bit different. Exploring the world of Ultros will also reveal secrets and mysteries hidden within.
