Vanillaware’s Unicorn Overlord is shaping up to be a rather robust strategy RPG from the makers of Dragon’s Crown and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Earlier this week the team released its latest trailer detailing how you will socialize and build rapport with the companions you meet along your journey.
Alain, the game’s protagonist, can utilize a conversation system, as well as plan meals with various companions to increase their bond. Of course, the natural way to build camaraderie is for characters to share the battlefield together, but the game’s 60-plus unique companions will be looking for more than that from you in order to maximize stat bonuses during battle.
