One of 2023’s most acclaimed games, Dave the Diver, is heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in April, developer Mintrocket has announced. The title is a mash-up of adventure, exploration, management, and life sim elements, seeing you fishing by day and serving up sushi by night. But it also features a variety of side activities such as farming, photography, seahorse races, and card collecting. On PS5, it will support the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to enhance combat and fishing. Mintrocket also announced a free Godzilla DLC called “King of the Monsters” will be dropping in May, meaning that the big fella will be lurking in the water.
Truthfully, I wasn’t familiar with Dave the Diver’s game until now, beyond knowing it was highly regarded. It looks like I’ve been missing out, and I aim to remedy that this April.
