The folks at Vanillaware are busy cooking up their next game, a strategy RPG called Unicorn Overlord, which is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on March 8th. The game features the developer’s signature art style and what appears to be deep RPG mechanics. A new trailer dropped this week detailing how exploration works as you venture across the continent of Fevrith playing as protagonist Alain.
As you move around the overworld map, you will encounter numerous quests, enemy encounters, hidden items, and characters that can be recruited to your party. You’ll also discover towns in need of both liberation and rebuilding.
Pre-orders are now open for Unicorn Overlord, which retails for $59.99, and includes the ATLUS X Vanillaware Heraldry Pack – a DLC that grants customization items from Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Check out the new exploration overview trailer below:
