Developer Argonwood and publisher Deck13 Spotlight are bringing turn-based strategy game Rising Lords to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on January 18th. The medieval-set title features presentation and gameplay elements of both card and board games along with a gorgeous art style.
Players assume the role of a lord trying to build their renown and power throughout the kingdom. To do so, you will battle against rival lords in turn-based combat, establish production chains, engage in diplomacy (or treason), enact taxes, and gather resources. The game features a single-player campaign mode, cross-platform multiplayer, scenarios mode, as well as a map and story editor. Looks fun! Check out the new release date trailer below:
