Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the next game from developer Don't Nod, is mere weeks away from its February 13th launch date across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. As its release inches closer, publisher Focus Entertainment has shared a series of short trailers on its community YouTube channel detailing some of the more granular parts of the emotionally-charged action RPG.

The most recent video takes a look at Rituals, which can be discovered across New Eden to reveal secrets of the past. Rituals are essentially multi-part investigations that let you view an echo from the past, gather the proper ingredients to perform the ritual, and make some tough decisions on how to complete the process. You can see a quick breakdown of the ritual process in the clip below:

There is also a brief video summing up the basics of combat in Banishers, and I must say - it is looking great. I've tried to stay on somewhat of a media blackout for the game, while still reporting on it, and this one-minute video shows just enough yet not too much to spoil anything. Combat looks to have some Souls-like tendencies such as a reliance on timing and parries, and you can also switch seamlessly between both protagonists, Red and Antea, which is a nice feature. Check out the combat basics overview, as well:
