Cooperative action-adventure brawler Gangs of Sherwood is mere days away, launching November 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In a new take on the Robin Hood universe, Gangs of Sherwood takes place during the last Crusades, with King Richard discovering a powerful artifact known as the Lionheart. The infamous Sheriff of Nottingham later confiscates the artifact and, of course, is up to no good with it.
In a bid to stop the sheriff’s shenanigans, players take up arms as one of four playable characters – Robin of Locksley, Friar Tuck, Little John, and the sheriff’s daughter, Maid Marian. Each has their own unique weapons and abilities, with more powerful combos and skills unlocking as you progress. The idea is to coordinate abilities amongst teammates to wreak the maximum amount of havoc on the sheriff’s minions; there's even style ratings for how good you are at combat.
