Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have announced Expeditions: A MudRunner Game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Expeditions is the third game in the popular off-road driving simulator series, which has garnered more than 15 million players across MudRunner and SnowRunner.
Expeditions brings a new twist to the formula, with players scouting and exploring uncharted territory by using all-terrain vehicles equipped with high-tech equipment. You’ll scout the map and lead research missions to uncover caches of valuable equipment across steep mountains, dense forests, and vast deserts. Use the resources you acquire to expand and manage your camp by building new structures and hiring experts to unlock new skills to use on your expeditions.
Well, I certainly didn’t have this on my Gamescom Opening Night Live bingo card, but it looks neat! There is no release date yet, just a vague 2024 window – so strap in, it could be a while.
