Publisher Perp Games announced today that virtual reality tennis sim Tennis On-Court is launching for PlayStation VR2 on October 20th. It is also one of the rare standalone PS VR2 games getting a physical release, and it can be wishlisted now on the PlayStation Store.

Tennis On-Court includes both arcade and realistic modes, allowing players of any skill level to play and enjoy the game. It features six stadiums (with both clay and grass courts), training modes, singles and doubles play in online matches, a spectator mode, and even an online championship. You can also play in single-player mode against the AI, if you are a social vegan.

As this is on Sony's shiny new VR rig, Tennis On-Court will also support haptic feedback and eye tracking to help you navigate the menus. VR is such a great platform for sports games, and tennis is a perfect fit. I'm looking forward to checking this one out, but the ceiling fan in my game room might not survive it.
