Annapurna Interactive announced today that its award-winning adventure game Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition is making the move to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 17th. There are no further details on any enhancements or upgrades that the current-gen version brings to the table, if any at all. Annapurna did confirm on social media that it will be a free upgrade for current owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition takes place over five acts and follows travelers lost in the underground caves of Kentucky (a real thing) along the mysterious Route Zero (a not real thing). Have a look at a brand new trailer below:
