It’s a spooky release date, but certainly not a spooky new gameplay trailer for musical-based battle royale game Headbangers Rhythm Royale. Publisher Team 17 Digital and developer Glee-Cheese announced at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct that the delightful looking title will launch on October 31st for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
If you’re unfamiliar, Headbangers Rhythm Royale sees 30 player-controlled pigeons compete across rounds of musical minigames in tests of their memory, rhythm, reaction time, and reflexes. It will feature cross-platform play and hundreds of customization items to make your pigeon your own at launch, in addition to 23 different games. One such game, called First Piano Shooter, requires you to play a tune on a piano with a slingshot. Sign me all the way up. Check it out for yourself below:
