American Fugitive developer Fallen Tree Games announced neon-noir action sandbox police game The Precinct at the Future Games Show over the weekend. It is heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but we still have an APB out for a release date.
If you are old enough to remember the first two Grand Theft Auto games, then The Precinct might give you a bit of déjà vu. It features an isometric camera perspective and sees you assume the role of police academy graduate, and newly minted patrol officer, Nick Cordell Jr. You will patrol the city of Averno and bust up its procedurally generated crimes, from parking infractions to bank heists. The game also features a dynamic day and night cycle, dynamic weather, and destructible environments.
