The demo for first-person puzzler Viewfinder is a must-play

More On: Viewfinder

Over the last few days, courtesy of the summer showcase season, we've been bombarded with game announcements, reveals, trailers, and demos galore (the Gaming Nexus news chest is bursting at its digital seams). In this deluge of gaming goodness, I want to draw your attention to a first-person puzzle game called Viewfinder, a game with one of the best demos I have experienced in a good while. The demo is available now on PlayStation 5, with the full game launching there and for PC on July 18th.

Honestly, I would have missed Viewfinder myself if it weren't for Head of PlayStation Indies, Shuhei Yoshida, tweeting that it became his most-anticipated game of the entirety of 2023 after playing the demo - high praise, to be sure. Viewfinder lets you reshape the world around you using pictures to solve puzzles by shifting the landscape and altering perspective. It is a really clever mechanic, and like Shuhei, Viewfinder has shot up my list of games that I'm looking forward to this year.

Check out a new trailer below, and again, head over to the PlayStation Store to download the demo to see what all the fuss is about.
