Co-developers Pewter Games Studios and LoPoly announced today that zany co-op heist game Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator is heading to PlayStation and Xbox consoles on May 11th. It’s already available on Steam, with the PC version getting a new update the same day which will feature numerous gameplay and qualify-of-life fixes.

When I came across the news today, I thought to myself “Is this the game where you revive your friends by flushing them down the toilet?” The answer is yes, yes it is. Filthy Animals can be played solo or with up to three friends in local or online co-op and features physics-based gameplay akin to Gang Beasts or Human: Fall Flat. Pull-off 21 unique heists with friends across eight chapters that range from small-time convenience store jobs to large bank robberies. As you can see from the latest trailer, it is hilariously over-the-top. Perhaps I can assemble some friends to flush down the toilet next week!
