More On: Gunfire Reborn

Developer Duoyi Games and publisher 505 Games announced that co-op first-person shooter roguelite Gunfire Reborn is heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 1st for a mere $19.99. It also happens to be a certified hit after selling more than 2.5 million copies worldwide since launching on Steam in November of 2021, where it also sits at a “very positive” user rating with more than 73,000 user reviews – impressive.

Gunfire reborn blends fast-paced first-person gunplay with a roguelite structure in levels full of loot and weapons to give you that “one more run” mentality. You can run solo or with up to three friends in co-op, with each player choosing from one of six anthropomorphic heroes, complete with their own unique abilities.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this one as I could definitely see myself playing this with friends. I’m hoping it will also feature some DualSense support on PS5, because judging by the trailer below, it is the perfect game for it.
