Developer Repixel8 and publisher CGA Studios have launched nostalgic arcade racer Formula Retro Racing: World Tour on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, with a release on PlayStation taking a pit stop until April 21st. The game is also said to be fully playable in VR, although it’s unclear if that means only PC VR, or if it will support PS VR2 as well on April 21st.
Formula Retro Racing: World Tour wears its inspirations on its sleeve, but brings the retro arcade racer into the modern age of gaming, featuring 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, realistic physics, local split-screen and online multiplayer, and 18 tracks.
I’m quite intrigued by this, but I’d definitely like to know what the deal is on the VR front. Check out a trailer for the game below:
