Skydance Interactive’s hit PSVR game The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is making the jump to PS VR2 on March 21st alongside the launch of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, which is coming natively to Sony’s next-gen headset.
Only players who own the Tourist Edition of the first game will be eligible for a free upgrade to the PS VR2 version. Everyone else will need to pay a $10 upgrade fee or purchase the Tourist Edition upgrade, which is also $10, but is currently on sale on the PlayStation Store for $3, so act fast if you’re interested. If you have been claiming all of your free monthly PS Plus titles, you likely have Saints & Sinners in your game library, so be sure to have a look. I went ahead and grabbed the $3 Tourist Edition upgrade last night, because that seems pretty fair to me, and I've heard nothing but good things about the game.
Save files will also transfer from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2. They will need to be exported from the first game and subsequently imported into the new game. The PS VR2 version of Chapter 1 will also feature a number of graphical and gameplay updates, which you can check out in a brand new trailer:
