It’s been a minute, but PlayStation is finally giving us a new State of Play event this Thursday, February 23rd at 4pm Eastern Time. Announced today on the PlayStation Blog, it will be the first but (at this rate) hopefully not the last State of Play in 2023, with the previous one taking place all the way back in September of last year.

As far as what to expect on Thursday, Sony has promised more than 15 minutes of new gameplay from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from developer Rocksteady Studios – most known for their legendary Batman Arkham titles. That’s not all however, as you can also prepare for updates on some third-party games, as well as first looks at five new PlayStation VR2 titles releasing in 2023.

Speaking of PS VR2, keep your eyes right here on Gaming Nexus over the coming weeks, as we will have lots of review coverage for the headset and as many of the launch window games as we can handle. Exciting times!

If you’d rather not go searching for it, you’ll be able to watch Thursday’s State of Play right here:
