After being heavily rumored for what feels like months, The Crew Motorfest was formally revealed by Ubisoft today and it is launching later this year on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Ubisoft and Epic Games Stores. It will also be available with a Ubisoft+ subscription on PC and Amazon Luna.
The Crew Motorfest is the third entry in developer Ubisoft Ivory Tower’s open-world racing franchise and it's set on the breathtaking Hawaiian island of O’ahu. Unlike previous games in the series, Motorfest appears to feature only land-based vehicles, while the first two also included planes and boats. You can expect to have plenty to do in Motorfest, from racing through the streets of Honolulu, to climbing volcanic slopes, or even exploring through the rainforest.
Ubisoft will hold a series of closed playtests across the various platforms, the first of which takes place tomorrow, February 1st on PC. If you’re interested, you can sign-up over on the game’s website to be a part of their “Insider Program”. The rest of us will have to settle for our first teaser trailer for the game below. I’m already signed-up for future tests on PS5 and am super keen to tear across Hawaii later this year.
