More On: Hell Let loose

Publisher Team 17’s World War II multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose is getting winter-themed content on December 6th, just in time for the holidays. The new update, called “Burning Snow”, will include a new map, new weapons, new vehicles, and new cosmetics.

The map is a snow-covered version of Kharkov, while the long-awaited arrival of flamethrowers and Molotov cocktails is coming in hot as well. Naturally, the new snowy terrain will require all-terrain vehicles like the Willys Jeep and the Kubelwagen. For those of us who like to make things go boom, the Soviet T-70 light tank is also joining the fight. The cosmetics are coming in the form of two paid DLCs – the Winter Warfare DLC and Skull Bucket DLC.

If you’ve never tried Hell Let Loose, it is a big change of pace from the twitch military shooters out there. It is one of the few shooters that I’ve played where teamwork is truly necessary to enjoy it, as well as to win matches. If you can take it seriously, there is a lot to like.

Looks like I’ll be roasting some folks on December 6th!
