Well I think Playstation may have jumped the gun. A little over a week ago AEW announced that our next look at AEW Fight Forever would come at the Full Gear PPV which takes place Saturday night, November 19th. Well the PPV hasn't happened yet and the official Playstation account uploaded a brand new gameplay trailer for the game.
We got our first look at the bloody "Lights Out" match along with all of the various weapons that can be used including a fire extinguisher, barbed wire bat, 2x4, kendo stick, tables, chairs, and one of the coolest additions I saw in the trailer, thumbtacks!
Something else that's interesting about the trailer is that the end looks like the game got a brand new cover. Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Jade Cargill and more were on the original cover but now it looks like Sting, MJF, Orange Cassidy, Bryan Danielson and more were added. But something is missing. It seems like CM Punk has been removed altogether from the cover when he was originally front and center. Whether or not this means he's been removed from the game remains to be seen.
Still no release date which is getting kind of annoying since this game has been "coming soon" for quite some time now.
