Publisher No More Robots and developer PanicBarn announced that open-world soccer RPG Soccer Story is taking the pitch on consoles and PC on November 29th. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, but definitely not on Google Stadia (and they want you to know that).

Soccer Story takes place after a catastrophic event called "The Calamity" has destroyed the very foundations of soccer (football) and it is up to the player, otherwise known as "The Savior of Soccer", to save the sport and bring peace to the world.

Explore a world full of puzzles and secrets that will require your heaven-sent soccer ball to solve. You’ll also meet a large cast of characters, complete quests for them, and take on rogue referees. Refs aren’t your only enemy in Soccer Story, as you can also expect to face-off against sharks, toddlers, old-age pensioners, and ninjas. No, I am not making this up.

Four-player local multiplayer is also a part of the package, as well as a fishing mini-game. What a fever dream of a game. Honestly, I am super intrigued and that is the point of course...so...you got me No More Robots and PanicBarn!
