October 25 2022 - Developer And 7 Limited is excited to announce that their virtual reality rhythm fitness game Hitstream is coming to SteamVR on October 31st. Previously available via Meta Quest and Pico Neo, this is the first time Hitstream will be playable on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and more.
Players will experience a full body workout in lush 360° environments with Hitstream, a VR game that uses music and movement to provide energising workouts. Different boxing techniques including jabs, hooks and uppercuts are utilized, in order to hit markers in time with music. Positioning is also key, as Hitstream throws out all manner of obstacles, demanding dodges and ducks at a moments notice.
Whether players are looking for a quick workout, or a longer challenge, Hitstream offers ten, twenty and thirty-minute workouts. Each routine features a curated mix of music genres, all picked to get the blood pumping and feet moving in time with the beat.
Scoring over 90% in a workout earns players a shot at one of Hitstream’s bonus stages. Intense sessions where one mistake spells game over. If that wasn’t enough of a challenge, the online leaderboards enable players from across the world to compete against one another for bragging rights.
