Destruction AllStars launches new season of content
PlayStation’s vehicular arena combat game Destruction AllStars received a fresh season of content today called Survive. This new in-game event will run from September 28th through November 9th and will feature the return of the Stockpile game mode, new special rules game modes, new rewards for competitive mode, and a new AllStar Pass.
The Stockpile mode returns in the form of Stockpile Frenzy, which adds a vehicle-destroying tornado to the arena, while the new special rules modes add twists to some of the classic playlists. Check out a breakdown of the special rules modes below, or read the PlayStation Blog post in full here.
- Team Targets (Mayhem Trios)
- Each team is given a “rival” team to target.
- Taking out that team awards bonus points.
- Most Wanted (Mayhem Quickplay)
- Players that wreck 3 opponents will become marked on the HUD for all players in the arena.
- Players who then wreck or KO the marked player will be awarded bonus points.
- Team Break Pack (Any Trios Game Mode)
- At fixed points during a game, the Team Break Pack item will spawn in the arena, marked for all players on the HUD.
- If a player collects the Team Break Pack, their team will have their Hero Vehicle and AllStar breakers filled and made instantly available.
Destruction AllStars is available now on PlayStation 5, and PS Plus Extra and Premium tier subscribers can download it as a part of their game catalog.
