The sequel to the beloved 2D Souls-like platformer, Salt and Sanctuary, from developer Ska Studios and Devoured Studios is coming very soon to PlayStation and PC!
Salt and Sacrifice is set in the cursed lands of Altarstone Kingdom where you play as a Marked Inquisitor tasked to hunt down evil Mages in order to purify the world. There will be ten unique classes to choose from and countless weapons and armor to loot and forge. Multiplayer comes in the form of cooperative play as well as player-versus-player via factions and invasions.
Gameplay is akin to Dark Souls titles, featuring challenging combat and deep mythos from item descriptions and environmental storytelling. There are also a bunch of new moves introduced since the first game, including sprint attacks, a grappling hook, and Runic Arts such as spectral blades.
Salt and Sacrifice is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store on Tuesday May 10, 2022. In case you missed it, check out our preview of the
