Clock is ticking on snagging those final Season 1 rewards in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Thankfully, there is a double XP weekend this weekend just in time with the close of the season next week. Starting Thursday, Feb 25, Season 2 will officially kick off.
While Black Ops Cold War itself released a little light on content (as detailed in my review) there has been a steady stream of content drops since launch with a new Zombies map, league play, the introduction of the latest iteration of the classic Nuketown map, and more. There's a lot to play for and even some secret rewards (like the unlocking the Streetsweeper auto-shotgun by getting 3 kills with any other shotgun without dying 10 times) so if Call of Duty is your thing, jump in for one last hurrah in season 1 and get ready for what's to come and all the new rewards in season 2.
