Bethesda dropped some bombs on the gaming community when they today announced via Twitter that a new Indiana Jones game is in development.
Though details are scant, we do know that Todd Howard will be executive producing, with development handled by Bethesda studio Machine Games. No word about which systems the game will release on, or much else at this point. But hearing that theme song slowly swell in the background is more than enough to get my blood pumping. A high-end Indiana Jones game is something the gaming community has been loudly demanding for years.
This news comes on the heels of yesterday's announcement of LucasFilm Games, the new umbrella under which all Star Wars games will be released going forward. Well, not only Star Wars games, it seems. Keep an eye on Gaming Nexus for more on this news as it develops.
