Dreams goes live with PSVR support today

More On: Dreams

You didn't forget about Dreams, did you? Because the devoted community committed to Dreams certainly didn't forget; they've been cranking out cool and bizarre content at a steady clip since well before the game officially released (GN score 9/10).

Starting today, that community will be able to create content in VR, as the free PSVR update is already live. The update includes new tools, tutorials, how-to's and kits to get players up and running with VR game creation.

For those curious about how the game handles folks that may be VR sensitive, the new update contains a variety of comfort controls. This includes a number of camera options, the ability to adjust the comfort vignette strength (the fuzzy blockers that appear around the edges of your vision when you turn), and the ability to drop out of VR entirely if the frame rate drops too low.

I'm redownloading Dreams right now to take another look at the game in VR. I never had the opportunity to dig into Dreams as much as I wanted - other games kept pulling me away. But my curiosity in this case is raging - I gotta see what mad things people will create.

Dreams is available now from the PlayStation Store; the PSVR update is free.
