More On: Harvest Moon: Light of Hope

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope marks a new phase of the legendary farming series by Natsume. This will be the first Harvest Moon title to be released on PC. Following Stardew Valley's success in 2016, it's fair to assume that there's a healthy fanbase for quirky farming RPGs on PC. Additionally, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

After being around for 20 years, Harvest Moon has seen many modifications to its original formula. A recent press release with Natume's president Hiro Maekawa suggests that Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will grow the series even further while focusing on what made it great in the first place.

Barely surviving a furious storm at sea, our heroic farmer awakens washed up on the shore of a small town. There, they take residence in an abandoned lighthouse with the goal of farming for the benefit of themselves and their new neighbors. Things are less grim than they seem, as there will be many seeds to sow and at least a few love interests to flirt with.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be playable at this year's E3. Naturally, we'll have more details thereafter. For now, we've got some crops to fertilize.
