Initial F.E.A.R. Impressions

I picked up a copy of F.E.A.R. last night and so far so good as far as the game is concerned.  The graphics are impressive and the fire-fights are intense (excellent use of smoke and physics in the game).  Enemy AI seems to be pretty solid as well as I had two guys distract me while one of them tried to flank me which was pretty cool.  The atmosphere in the game is amazing and the game manages to scare you without having to resort to cheap monster-closet type tricks.

What did annoy me was that I purchased the Directors Cut version of the game and was disappointed to find that the game ships in a paper sleve with the serial number on the back.  I know the market is tight but if I'm plunking down $55 for a game I do kind of expect to see a nice case inside.  At least sell the game in the new fancy "DVD on steriods" cases that EA and Ubi are using.
