Double "O" Gold

More On: From Russia With Love
EA's latest Bond game, From Russia With Love, has gone gold and will be shipping to stores on November 1st. The video game version of the Bond classic (my second favorite Bond movie behind Goldfinger) features the voice of Sean Connery in the role he helped make famous.  The game will feature scenes from the movie as well as some new plot elements and gadgets.  The only thing that bugs me about the game is the addition of Maria Menounos and Natasha Bedinfield as Bond Babes in the new game. I'm not sure what they really will add to the game and inserting new faces into and old game seems to be a bit of a stretch, but that's just me.

The Lector has been decoded and the message reads: From Russia With Loveâ„¢, starring Academy Award®-winner, Sir Sean Connery has gone gold on the PS2 and Xbox and will be shipping on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2005!  A version for the Nintendo GameCubeâ„¢ will be released shortly after in mid- November.

From Russia With Love, the game, is based on the classic Bond film from 1963 but features new plot twists, gadgets, weapons and characters. Sir Sean Connery, appearing in his first-ever videogame, lent his voice and likeness to the project. Also making their videogame debuts as original Bond girls are movie and TV star Maria Menounos and multi-platinum UK pop star Natasha Bedingfield.

Officially licensed by MGM Interactive, From Russia With Love was developed by EA’s Redwood Shores, Calif. Studio and has an MSRP of $49.99. This game has been rated T (Teen) by the ESRB. More information on the game can be found on the official website at www.007.ea.com.
