Last week, G'AIM'E reached out to tell everyone that a new update was available for everyone who has the plug-and-play light gun system. One of my biggest concerns was aiming, which is the only thing you have to do to be successful in two of the games included in the deluxe edition.
V4.03 introduces Background Environment Assist Mode, which gives you the "Sinden" border around the edges of your TV to reduce the chances your light gun doesn't go beyond the screen. You can use 3 different colors for this, black, whire, and pink, and provides a different contrast level.
G'AIM'E does say performance still may vary, depending on how your room is set up. You can download the update here, with full instructions.
Have you tried it? Have you seen this thing? It's pretty cool, but I just wanted to be able to shoot things easier. Maybe this is my chance. I'll report back.
